Friends Trail Loop is a moderate 1.5 mile trail near Broken Bow that takes about 45 minutes to complete. This is one of the most popular trails for hiking and running in the area. Parts of the trail runs parallel to the Lower Mountain Fork River. Hikers will certainly enjoy the scenery on this trail.
Skyline Trail is a harder trail that can be very steep in places with potentially difficult water crossings. Skyline Trail is 8.6 miles and can take close to 4 hours to complete. The trail is popular and is open all year. Enjoy beautiful scenery, bird watching, and wildlife. Be sure to watch the trail markers - it is easy to get off track.
Tree Trail is a relatively easy trail that is about 1 mile long and is at the Forest Heritage Center Museum. This short 29 minute path will take you past Native American sculptures and incredible nature as it winds along the floodplain of Beaver Creek.
Lookout Mountain Loop is about a 3 mile loop trail that is moderately challenging and take about 1.5 hours to complete. This trail is best April through October.
